Apartments
The restoration of the grounds of the old farmhouse allowed for the development of four spacious apartments offering accommodation for a total of 18 guests; Giovanna, Vescovo, Melo e Capanna.
The apartments, which have retained the traditional Tuscan farmhouse style, are well-equipped for self catering. Guests can be completely independent or sample breakfast, lunch and dinner on request, prepared by Giovanna and served together with the family and alongside other guests.
Each apartment is also equipped with heating, wi-fi internet and a dishwasher.
Walking through the gardens you can reach the panoramic swimming pool of Podere Paugnano, next to the oak trees. On the other side of the main farmhouse you can visit the animals and observe some of the daily activities such as milking the sheep, collecting eggs from the hens or cheese making. The small farmshop sells the cheese made on-site, which can also be sampled beforehand in some of the dishes prepared in the kitchen.
The closest shops and ameneties can be found in Radicondoli (a 10 minute drive away), a small, picturesque hilltop village dating back to the 13 century. Those who wish to create an appetite for breakfast, or to digest after lunche can cross the fields to reach Radicondoli on foot in about an hour.
The Surrounding Area
Exploring the territory further afield, the beautiful cities of Florence, Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano are all within driving distance. Heading west towards the coast, the nearest beach can be reached in approximately one hour.
